I'm so proud of my boy

This is the third time Cupar has come running to me instead of chasing a hare. Walking on the footpath, fenced at both sides but the horse field fence has shrunk in height by the previous horses.
Cupar was running in front of me when a huge hare darted out and ran down the field the horses were in, Cupar noticed it immediately and as I saw him look to jump the fence, I called his name 'Coooooooopeeeeeeeer' and he stopped turned and came running straight towards me.

I believed the first time was a fluke and the second time just lucky but surely I can declare that on one of his regular walks he has an excellent recall.

I rewarded him with lots of excited praise and cheese but thought it deserved at least one chuck of his ball, although he now had his lead on, so it didn't go far.

Field on the right with the horses. In line with the horses, the fence is low to the ground and that's where the hare appeared from.
