introducing Cola

Love your outdoor set up @Foxy Lady , with all that moveable fencing and gate.
yes - they are joined together just in pairs, and the pairs are just placed together to form a zig-zag - and so can easily be moved to mow. The weight of the pairs is enough to keep Cola in at the moment, but gives me a separate space for him and for the others.

Oooh, do you play hoopers, @Foxy Lady ?
yes - play is the right word - Jaffa really enjoys it - I like the distance handling aspects (I get to stand fairly still !!) Tamber my manic retriever does not see the point in running round in circles - Foxy is blind so its tricky and Ellie is kindof fixated on treats rather than where she is going - but we have fun - hopefully Cola will like to - its a lot less risk of injury , doesn't require complicated equipment and easy to change courses to something new.

visit to friends garden today - crunch beef pipe all the way (I love the feedback because I can hear him crunching even though he is now in the back of the van in his crate) - no problem - doors shutting / stops/starts to open gates etc - all good - play in garden - back into van - turned round a few times and flopped on his pillow - slept all the way home - happy Cola and happy Mum

so after a few trips out in the van - with chew chew all the time - Cola is now fine with a smaller chewie which lasts while I am banging van doors and setting off - he then finishes this and now settles down as long as the van is moving - not sure whether he is sleeping or just resting, but either is good. So took about 2 weeks - we have done journeys up to an hour - get out and do something and then an hour back - so everyone who said it would just take a bit of time - was right !!! thank you
