Introvert or extrovert?

Would you consider yourself a natural introvert, extrovert, or a mixture?

Reading through...as well as introverted I'm also very shy! I wasn't as a child. I was the talkative one. I was the one picked for doing readings, taking the lead in plays etc...then it stopped. Probably when I went to secondary school. And I don't know how to get it back. Not that I need to, it's just that sometimes I feel like a right weirdo.

I was a painfully shy child with only 2 friends then went to being the party girl in my 20's even more so when I joined a company with people I had previously worked with as a teenager/20's. I was the last to go to bed every morning at 5 am on foreign business trips. Always the one with "lets go on somewhere else" for drinks and a boogie, always up for a night out after work or a party at the weekends and now I am back to being an introvert preferring my own company doing my own thing, happy to be with David and my doggies, children when they visit. I dislike dinner parties so much so that my friends don't bother asking me any more. I hate small talk with people I don't know as I find it difficult and can't wait to get back to my comfort zone. I blankly refuse to go to events I know will be stressful as I don't see why I should. I have very few friends that I call real friends that I keep close. I am much more about the quality over the quantity. I am there for them through anything and they for me if I need them.

Maybe I will go back to being a party 'old' girl in the future! xx
