Is your dog a licker ?

I blame Mr Boogs - he loves being licked and gets her to lick him, including all between his toes.
Ugh! Meg does this to OH's feet who loves it (he has really manky feet - all fungal and disgusting) and the noise it makes is so horrible I have to call her away, I cannot stand it. She jumps on the bed in the morning and tries to lick faces, hands, arms, heads. I don't like it one bit and discourage it. Coco isn't much of a licker.

Vanilla is a licker, always has been. She only licks me and ignores other people so does not bother me. She will wake me by licking the back of my neck, then if I don't move she will move to the face.

Honey just wakes me with a big 100mph licks on the face. if I don't move I get slapped with a paw and more licks...she also does not lick other people...but jumps. working on stopping that...

My Labs all lick when they are hungry. Shadow will come and lick my hand after he's eaten, too. I occasionally make the "mistake" of sitting down on the floor when it's coming close to mealtime so I can have cuddles with the dogs, but it always ends up with me flat on my back being pinned down and licked to death by three starving Labradors.
Ginny isn't much of a licker of people, but she does give tiny little tongue flick "kisses" sometimes. She does, however, lick soft furnishings and it drives me crazy. I have to interrupt her because I can't bear the noise. I'm very grateful that none of them are over-enthusiastic about cleaning themselves in that slurpy way. Ugh, it makes me shiver just thinking about it. Every now and again (a couple of times a month?), Squidge will have a sudden urge to chew her bloomers and that is pretty noisy, but it only lasts a few seconds so I can cope with it.
I was once at my friends' house with their male Lab and I was trying to work - he spent the whole day, it seemed, slurping on his bits. My nerves were in tatters by the end of the day. It's just as bad as a noisy eater, I can't abide it!
