Its that lonely time x

Been up with Reuben since 1.30 a.m. when he cried at the bedroom door to go out, but too late, poor lad , awful stinking mess to clean up but not his fault . I went back to bed but he cried again, got him out in time but have given up on sleep now so am messing about on the internet whilst he is now asleep beside me , snoring gently . I mean , apart from reading , what the heck can you do at this unearthly hour ?

Thanks Robyn , have just had another cup of tea and a slice of toast with marmite ! Reuben is making some shocking tummy noises so its pointless trying to sleep as I`m sure he will want to go out again soon x

I guess you can't just leave the back door open for him? That's what I've done in the past (but haven't told OH as he is a security nut) and then I've slept upstairs in the spare bedroom that is next to the loungeroom. Then I can leave Maxx in the lounge where he then has a quick 5-step dart out the back door if necessary

Otherwise, there's always reading and/or MLF to devour. Sigh. Poor you Kate

Oh, poor you (and Reuben) Kate. I sympathise with the insomnia since last night I was up at 3 to go to the loo and couldn't get back to sleep thanks to pregnancy insomnia and the cold OH has gifted me in the week before my induction! What a gift.

Hope you get a good night's sleep soon.

Oh dear, Kate, how is Reuben this morning? I hope his tummy’s more settled and you’ve got some sleep.

Not a fun night at all, Kate. :( Did Reuben eat dried grass again? Hope he's doing better this morning. Any chance he'd take pity and let you have a nap later?

Oh.....! Are we going to get some puppy news soon then?! :D
Hopefully soon just waiting last bit is killing me. Just hope pup mum is ok and theres a boy for me. But mostly just worried about pup mum and her breeder it's so hard on them both . Good thoughts to Yorkshire
