Just typical !

Ages ago , we bought the dogs a toy each from Pets at Home , called Spiky Toys . They came with treats stuffed into holes all over them and we a massive hit , then the time came to order the refill treat , out of stock . Three blasted months it took to get the damned things , PAH even offered refunds on the toys themselves but then eureka , the treats arrived instore , I had the e mail to confirm this , so off I went , all sold  Eventually we got some by reserving , so I bought a decent stock which soon ran out , so back to PAH to be told that they were once more not available , not even online , zilch .
On Friday I called in on the off chance , to be told that some were arriving on Tuesday 6th August and that I could reserve some , so I did , paid and receipt kept safe . Guess what ? We cannot find the toys , searched high and low inside and out . both the damned things are no more :headbang:. Reuben has a habit of taking toys into the garden so I have been out there with a stick, knocking ever blasted shrub to kingdom come , they are not out there . Under the beds ( oh the fluff ! ) under cupboards , behind the sofa I have searched , tennis balls , toys, dog biscuits , everything but the spiky toys , typical isnt it ? xx

Tried down the back of the sofa, under blankets in dog beds?
..... which reminds me, our old spaniel Max used to hide money, yes coins, under the blankets in his basket, strange old fella he was. He would nick any coins left close to the edge of a table and trot off with them, he had quite a stash. We often wondered if it was his runaway fund if he got fed up with us
