Kennel Club registration

fail ...
I've been re-filing all Homers papers and realised I never ever transferred his Kennel Club registration to our name. I have the papers to transfer registration and all his registration numbers form his breeder. I wonder if its worth doing 8 years later? If I ring the KC will they be suspicious and think I'm a mad dog lady? Do I even admit this fail to Hubby?
His microchip is in our name and he is registered at the Vet in our name.

Well shamefully I've never registered Monty, and I keep meaning to sort Bear out but have filed the papers away in a drawer so they are a little bit 'out of sight out of mind'. Like you, they are both chipped registered to me / OH, registered at the vet and insured in our names, and I have invoices for them both too. I can't imagine ownership could ever be disputed? I certainly won't do Monty now, but I will get on with registering Bear, so thanks for the reminder.

I don’t think it’s a big deal if they’re not going to be used in competition or breeding.
Yes, there's still a thought in our mind about considering breeding from Bear (though I'd have to do a hell of a lot of research on it first as well as the health tests) though tbh it feels less and less likely as he gets older - so certainly we would have to register him then.

I never did Red. I remember sort of looking at the papers and talking to F about it. We concluded we didn’t need to do it. Like you her chip is in our name and registered at the vet in our name

I did Maisy just as a matter of course, but I don't think it is necessary unless they are bred from and given a whacky pedigree name.
And she is with me now, nothing to do with them.
