Kennel cough

I suspect Finn has kennel cough. Or side effects of the rabies vaccination. Or a foreign something sticking in his throat. It started last Monday after the vets visit for his vaccination and the vet telling me he has flees....Since we came home he was low, I thought that it was of his vaccination. After this he started reversed sneezing, he does this so now and then. But this afternoon he is coughing and is sick of his mucus in his throat. I rang the vet and let him checked in 2 hours time.
Any dog that has this after rabies vaccin?

Yes, Finn has kennel cough. He got NSAID injection and for the night codeine when needed. Coughing syrup Bisolvon. Little portions of kibble. It must go better after this weekend, when not back to the vet for antibiotics. For now only short on lead walks. Careful around other dogs for it is very contagious

I’m sorry to hear. Snowie vomited every time he coughed—violent heaving coughs. Wished we’d covered our carpets in towels to protect them. Get well soon, Finn!

I gave Finn yesterday some honey. He liked it, but right after it he started vomiting mucus out of his throat. That’s the reason I made an appointment with the vet.
He had a good night sleep without coughing, so the meds the vet gave him did him well. I didn’t give him codeine, if he had coughed I would have. Let’s see how this day goes! Finn is vaccinated against kennel cough, he got this with his yearly checkup. According to the vet he still can get it but mild
