Such good news, very happy to read it! Hopefully it’s a big weight off your mind. That specialist vet sounds like a keeper.
Yes, Paragon Vets (which is where we were referred to) are excellent, open seven days a week with specialist vets in pretty much everything. Joy has had several visits there over the years :wasntme: and they've always been lovely with her and with me. It's where I always ask for her to be referred to for anything other than standard veterinary care.

Just a quick update on this thread. Joy and I were back at Paragon Vets on Sunday for her three months check, her eye pressure was fine, as was everything else, so for now we continue with the drops and check ups will be every six moths unless there are problems. She's her usual self, with a slight increase in bossiness and cheekiness and more of a tendancy to biff with a paw if she wants something. As friend put it 'Perhaps as she can't see us, she assumes we can't see her either, so she biffs to remind us that she's here'. (As if we could forget!🤣) So for now all is good and she's pretty lively for a blind nine year old dog with arthritis!

What a girl :sun: I love that she 'biffs'. Pleased you both had a good check up.
I rather love the biffing too. Although it can be a bit painful at times, particularly in summer on bare legs! She also biffs the side of the bed when she's decided it's time to get up and have breakfast. This isn't new, but now that she's less able to tell day from night it sometimes happens rather earlier than it should ( although, being a Labrador there is of course no such thing as 'too early' for food). Luckily all I have to say is 'Too early! Back to bed!' and back she goes ( with a heavy sigh!) So she's still my GoodgirlJoy.❤
