That's where I went wrong with Ripple - I should have had another dog to train him (would have been so much easier).

Mind you I would have been afraid that the older dog would hurt the puppy. Do you have to stop this sometimes? Or does it all stay very controlled?

I never have to stop the older ones, they are very controlled indeed. I do, however, have to save the older ones from the puppy - thus the barrier across the room to give them time out :)

He seems to have developed into an intelligent, noble adult dog without an ounce of trouble. You've done a stunning job with Kier @Boogie

Just out of interest... Do you think you have learned a lot from each pup, becoming a better puppy trainer with each one? Or are they all just individuals and you apply the same techniques which just work at different speeds depending on their personalities?

I’ve become much more organised, so each pup seems easier than the last. It’s the little things which tend to help the most.

Training wise they have all been very different so you adjust to the pup you’ve got. Mollie was hard work to carry around - a wriggler and nibbler! Spencer is happy to be in my arms and watch the world go by.

:)
