I am sorry to read about Lilly, hope a good plan can be made. I have a friend with a Greyhound and he has been on prednisolone for about 3 years and he looks magnificent, hasn't lost or put on any weight.

If it is three a day, you'll have to rig up some sort of "dropping" device that you can trigger remotely, that dispenses something nice and tasty with the tablet inside

I have been giving this some thought.
IF the tablets are reasonably palatable and I could get away with using a timer feeder with a bit of food plus the meds, this could be an option.

I'm wondering if anyone has used timer feeders.
There are a few on Amazon but I'm a bit doubtful about the stories of cats and even rabbits being able to open them, and dogs biting the timers off to get to the food. *Sigh*. i thought it was a good idea, too.

A friend with a food-obsessed cat bought one as he'd wake her up at 2am and 5am every morning wanting to be fed. Took him less than a week to figure out how to open it and just eat everything at one go. But maybe some are better than others...?
