Limber tail

How’s Willow today @snowbunny ? Hopefully her lovely tail is getting a bit of life back and she’s not too uncomfortable x
She’s still looking sad and wagless, although on our walk you wouldn’t know there was anything wrong (lack of wag aside) because she was bouncing round like a Tigger! Now back in Spain, and she’s a bit grumpy with the others, so it’s definitely sore.

After a swim, Carbon's tail will sometimes droop and get a kink in it so that it looks like a sad "L" but he never has any pain. It usually takes a couple days to right itself. Maybe from an old injury but hearing others talk about limber tail, it's not that.
Are you sure? You wouldn’t really know Willow was in pain. She doesn’t show any signs of pain if I touch it. Your description really sounds like it to me!

No, not sure at all - it's just that after hearing how painful it was for the other dogs, I figured that wasn't it. Is there such thing as 'mild limber tail'?

There’s definitely degrees of it. Sometimes it’s mild and improves with 24 hrs, sometimes it’s more severe and can last a few days - this was our experience. And the hanging ‘long L shaped sad tail’ is a bit of a classic.
