Tatze was really excited and danced round the crate when she saw the Lambie. She was visibly disappointed when I let her in and she realised it wasn’t a puppy!

He looks as though it’ll stay quite wavy rather than go curly, but don’t quote me on that! We’ve had a couple of surprises where they look wavy but turn out to be curly

Grooming them is actually really easy - the hardest bit is getting over the anxiety of it at the beginning!

Having attempted countless times to groom poodles, I told Mags the exact opposite: just find a good groomer and pay them the good money.

Noooo that’s definitely a myth
He will definitely lighten as you can see the paler colour coming through on his back already, but it’s hard to say for certain how light he will go. It also depends on the colour of his parents and if they lightened at all

We have all the puppy toys in the world but Ted needed his very own fox and teething keys, didn’t he?



Oh, and a gorgeous collar and lead to match his auburn fur.

so I will use it.

I have sorted out his insurance, microchip registration and first vet visit today.

Have I missed anything?
It’s nine years since I had a puppy of my own!

He’s just woken up in today‘s photo - still no evidence of workable legs. Plus some ‘interesting‘ colouring on his face.

Either he's hit the cheekbone highlighter too hard and is suffering powder flashback (it happens to all the celebs, little Ted) or he has a hangover.

And now his legs don't even look like they've been stitched on the right way, poor little mite.

It's a good thing you are rescuing him on Thursday, Mags, you'll get him all put back together correctly.

I’ve no idea how much to feed him. The breeder just leaves the food down and let’s them eat when they want.
(I know!! That would be ‘all day’ with our Labs!)

The bag bases it on adult weight. I’ve no idea what that will be. He’s on James Wellbeloved, Lamb.

Everything is regulated for Guide Dog pups - I’m not used to all these decisions!
