I’ve no idea how much to feed him. The breeder just leaves the food down and let’s them eat when they want.
(I know!! That would be ‘all day’ with our Labs!)

The bag bases it on adult weight. I’ve no idea what that will be. He’s on James Wellbeloved, Lamb.

Everything is regulated for Guide Dog pups - I’m not used to all these decisions!

🤔 🤔
My previous two Labs both did well on James Welbeloved. Wouldn't the puppy version tell you how much to feed according to puppy weight? I can't remember now.

Oh my word I am SO excited!!!!!!!! Can’t wait for the videos of little fluffy Ted RACING around! Does Tatze know how small he is compared to a Labrador? 😁

So I would imagine he would grow to be somewhere between 9-12kg, possibly nearer 12 since he is a boy (generally boys are often slightly bigger, as we all know!). I would imagine he would be on somewhere around 140-180g of food per day at the moment (could be wrong but sounds about right in my head 😂).

I have to admit that I never weigh out food…. I’m so used to doing it now that I can just tell and will adjust if I feel it’s too much/not enough!

@Boogie, I would think when you fetch your puppy, the breeder will give you a sheet of exact direction, food amount, worming etc. Sometimes it is a good idea to feed them what they are already on and then gradually introduce the food you have chosen. I have fed Rourke Arden Grange Lamb and Rice for years.

Tatze is so funny. She keeps asking me to open Ted‘s crate door. Then she brings his Lambie out, puts it gently on the floor and nudges it with her nose. Then she comes to me and puts her chin on my lap as if to say ‘Mum, this pup is very boring‘.

I‘ve told her the non-boring one arrives tomorrow!
