Long memory and blind

Thought I would post a video of a recent training session with Bramble, working in an unfamiliar location, with a long memory coupled with a "set up" blind. I made it a bit easier for her by taking advantage of the lovely mown straight lines!

What a lovely smiling face Bramble has!
I usually watch videos wearing headphones but had this on speaker. When you started your excited ‘good girl’, Molly jumped up and started wagging - well someone was being called a good girl, so it must be her.

I love the way she engages with eye contact. Lovely girl!

She does make beautiful eye contact! I am dropping the whistle cue on most of the retrieves now unless they are a bit new, or a stretch for her. You notice I give far more praise and encouragement on the second retrieve. This was because I was thrilled she trusted me enough to go out in such a confident manner. Of course, everything was set up to help her as much as possible.
