Lost dog - please help! **NOW FOUND**

Not Pongo! But a friend of mine. I know it's a long shot, but if any of you have any networks or friends in the relevant area, could you please share?

Lost dog from postcode SA11 - between Merthyr and Swansea. Bella is a yellow Labrador, slim and friendly, with a distinctive line down her face. Lost since 7th / 8th May. If you see or hear anything, please let me know and I will put her owner in touch.

My friend is not on facebook or similar so I'm spreading the word. I have her contact numbers, but I'm not sure what the best thing to do is....I feel a bit reluctant to post her numbers on public facebook pages, so I've just asked people to contact me by commenting on the post. Does anyone have a better idea for how to do this?

Poor Marigold (her owner)…. she says she is not hopeful. Apparently Bella was being walked on lead by M's daughter, in an open field in an area that Bella is not familiar with; the daughter tripped and fell, Bella ran off with lead trailing behind her. Marigold is fearful that she has fallen down into the river and got snagged somewhere and drowned. Bella is nine years old, fit and healthy and a "sensible" girl, and Marigold believes that if she was OK she would have found her way home. She is expecting nothing but bad news, and is still searching the area. So sad.
