It is really amazing how fast it reduced after it reached its peak. The first pics I put up don’t show it at its worst - at the worst point it had grown so much it was beginning to close his top eyelid over his eye.

Wowsers - I think this is why I find it so fascinating, because quick development often seems to demand quick action and the more info we have on what might be going on the better.
Also reassuring that at those points when it looks really concerning we might be able to steady our perspectives a little with the benefit of these insights.
