Lump in mouth

It sucks to be upset, especially with the lump occupying your thoughts. On the plus side, the clean wouldn’t have damaged the enamel on his teeth in any way. Certainly no more so than getting meaty bones and carcasses in his diet. So don’t worry about that aspect of it. And even though the vet was full of praise for his lovely teeth, if you never brushed them they would not be perfect (only brushing gets under the gum line). So the clean no doubt did him some good, even if there were no ‘problems’ to fix. I expect the vet felt that you had discussed the clean beforehand and had consented…maybe she even thought you’d be upset if she decided not to do it and the chance was lost? Maybe hear her out…

I hope that all is well re. the lump, and it’s just that Snowie has decided to get harmlessly creative with his jaw line. It is sounding very hopeful, and fingers are crossed here for good news and a great outcome.
