Lump on ear.

When the vet rang to tell me the good news about Joy's ear she also suggested that I could take a photo of the lump next to something like a coin, so that I could use this to check if it was getting smaller. I had to explain to her that in order to do this I would need four more hands than I actually have. I need two hands to take a photo, would need one to hold the ear back, another to hold the coin and a further two to hold her head still. Her reply was 'Oh bless!' ( which I suspect she would not have said to a young person, and found somewhat patronising. However she had given me good news, so I chose to focus on that.) As it turns out no photo has been needed. The lump has nearly gone now! It's disappearing as quickly as it grew! Joy is really wanting to swim, but I think we'd better wait until it's completely gone, then maybe a few days more to avoid the risk of infection . I'm so pleased that what I thought might be something really nasty has turned out to be so minor.:tail:

You'll feel better once it's checked out and you can rest easy that GGJ is just excellent at being a bit lumpy.

My Brogan was lumpy too, seemed to increase when he was around 6 years old and then stabilised. None did any harm, but like you, I felt better once I knew they were just benign additions to how much of him I had to love.
