Lump on paw

Out of nowhere, I noticed a hard little lump on Quinn’s paw. It must be new, because I didn’t see it yesterday. It’s hard and is not a tick. Has anyone seen anything like this? 3B3B9FEA-6A41-40B0-B35B-E1B358E909BB.jpeg8FA37448-60BB-479E-AEC0-F4CC1F658480.jpeg

Most likely something harmless like a wart or cyst, as Jelinga says. Google can definitely be helpful but not when it comes to lumps...it just leads you to the wrong conclusion (ie that your dog will have to have their entire body amputated). Great that you can see the vet so quickly.

Aspirating a lump involves poking it with a needle to get some material from it then squirting this onto a glass slide for a look under the microscope. Our vet has done this with lumps that small and it can sometimes give clues. Can help identify wart cells and some kinds of lumps (not all though...).

if it’s a wart it will eventually disappear..

I hope your vet friend can advise.
