In California, I used to put little homemade sandwich-board type signs on myself when I went out with my fosters: “Adopt my foster dog!”. I don’t think I got a single dog adopted that way (doing photo blogs of each dog was much more successful), but I met a lot of nice people who wanted to ask about the dogs .
