Ella's was a variation of "what's this?" that ended up sounding a bit more like "wass-iss?" and coincided with me finding some wonderful treat in my pocket.

Unfortunately my OH caught on and ruined it with too much use and not enough reward

I use that too but quite a lot so it's not very magic. It is actually wassisssthen.
There should be a dog dictionary for all the words we use/create
