Maxx has a lump

Steve found a hard lump tonight about the size of a grape on Maxx's right front leg about midway between his elbow and armpit. It didn't seem to bother him when we felt it but off to the vet tomorrow

Good luck at the vets - labradors are very prone to lumps and bumps as they get older, so hopefully it is nothing serious.

Best of luck. I hope it’s nothing. Snowie is coming up with so many warty lumps. Our vet says, “Dogs get lots of lumps and bumps if they live long enough.”

Thanks @M.F., we couldn't get in today so we have an appointment for tomorrow morning. It's a strange lump, you can actually move it so it's not fixed (if that makes sense). It's like rolling a small tiny marble around under his skin

Hope all goes well at the vet's tomorrow and it's nothing to worry about. Our vet says Labradors are particularly prone to lumps and bumps as they get older. I'm by no means an expert but I think the fact that it is moveable sounds like a good sign. Sending love and

Fingers crossed everything is ok. Harley has several lumps, one which sounds very similar to Max’s. The vets have checked all of her (4) and they are all fatty lumps.
