Do we need to worry? Little, naughty imp jumped up and took a banana peel from the bench when I was making Kongs. He gobbled it so quickly all I managed to retrieve was the hard end-bit.

Mwahahaha, in my experience no, you don't need to worry. Xena's eaten more skins than I care to admit, and only once has she puked it up.
