Meet Mr Lime-Green collar

It's getting close now!

I do really want a puppy carrier though so he can come out with us and be carried ... but I'm not sure if they are any good for them?
There are many front sling type carriers in stores recently, which seem like they would be easy to carry a heavier puppy. What about food bowl, baby gate, blankets...

We had a puppy papoose for Kipper for going out and about before he’d had all his jabs, which felt ridiculous to begin with but was great for around 3/4 weeks. Didn’t use it for more than ~20 mins at a time, spent a while acclimating and he seemed comfy. I generally supported his body weight with an arm so he wasn’t fully ‘hanging’ in it, it was good for simply getting out and about. I remember he met a few horses that way which was rather lovely, he was higher up and physically close to me and could exchange sniffs so perhaps felt a bit more comfortable than he would otherwise.

I have a brand-new puppy harness in purple, a step in harness that didn't really float Otter's boat! Might have another slightly larger one I can also send on xx

I have Monty's old stainless steel food bowls (he eats out of Balti dishes now! ), we've still got two baby gates, one in use upstairs to protect the cat's food, lots of tfleecy throws and a big sheet of memory foam I'm going to repurpose into a crate bed. Technically he won't have his own bed, but will have a bed in the big crate, a bed in the fabric crate, Monty's XL fusion bed, two hammock beds, and two other day beds to share.
Puppy toys for those croca teeth!

Any recommendations at all on Amazon? (I've got a big Amazon gift card balance)

That would be brilliant - I'd be very happy to pay you for them.

Puppy carrier - I was thinking of something like you had @Sophiedoodle , though if the style that @HAH had carries more weight that might be a consideration.

I hope I don't come across as a bit mean / stingy - I just know I spend hundreds of needless ££££s on Monty in the first year, that was a complete waste, and ended up in the bin in hours or days. I'm saving up lots of cardboard for chewing and play, and plastic or tetrapac recycling for popping bits of kibble in.

I think you’re cruel and don’t deserve dogs!

JOKE! Dogs don’t give a crap if they have nice new things - as long as they’re fed, loved and entertained they’re loving life. And you got all that covered!

Carbon actually prefers the stuff he's stolen from @Beanwood (Bunny and Piggy) to the stuff I pick out for him. Otherwise his favourites are things that he's picked out himself at the store (Monkey and Oscar the Flea) or gifts from someone who is not me (@Boogie 's Llambie Llama).

So I'd say... @Natalie you've got the perfect strategy!
