We had trazadone & gabapentin last night, nutracalm this morning and more trazadone & gabapentin at noon. She's been he usual lively self all afternoon, barking out of the window. She had some roght hissy fits through the car window as we were driving to the vets at 2:30. I chatted to the (new) receptionist about how Meg is. She suggested the vet goes out to the car, but I declined that, I don't want bad associations with the car. I told how it went last year (vet took Meg into surgery and had an assistant while I waited) - the new lady said that's be fine, sh would take her in. Well she was so good with Meg, I mean really in tune with her and Meg knew. They went in and there was a tiny bit of growling and a couple of attempts at the vaccination, then lots of squeaky praise and out came Meg with her new friend. I spoke to the vet, apparantly she did a little wee when the vet first touched her, so ahe backed off and tried again, no problem. I'm so relieved it's over for another year! And I'm very proud of Meg.
She came home and was going to fall asleep... but Coco and the goings on in the road got the better of her.
This is her when we came home. She's wide awake now, playing bitey face
