So, definitely a UTI, he has high bacteria count. Antibiotics and painkillers. Poor lad, but I am very glad they are on top of it.
Once he has recovered, then next week the vet wants to see him again to look carefully at his gait, and we will talk about physiotherapy / water treadmill etc. again, as it really helped him last year.

Merlin has a clean bill of health! UTI all cleared up! Much happier!!! He has to finish up the course of antibiotics, but we can stop the metacam now. And next week he starts a course of aqua therapy again - he'll enjoy that, he found it quite fun last year.
