My pup only bites me not my partner?!

Nothing new, just to say that Molly too was a shocking biter - drew blood daily (daily? more like hourly!) but it did pass and she became a very loving companion. I don't actually remember my last dog biting as a puppy (he was a pedigree Lab, unlike Molly who is a cross) so maybe they don't all bite, but clearly from comments here that most do!

Hunter bit me also and not my OH. He would also bite and pull my hair. I would go to work with my junkiie looking hands. My crocoshark would also pull off my socks and bite my toes. You are doing nothing wrong and we have all had the puppy blues. I remember breaking out in tears at 5am as he shredded by jeans at the ankle and cut my down jacket at the wrist. I now look back and actually remember those times with a fond loving smile. Call me crazy but I miss that special time.

One puppy ripped a jumper off me. It was 20 years ago nearly. I loved that dog I've still got the jumper folded away upstairs. Sometimes I get it out and smile.

I don't think they all do it, some people have looked at me in amazement when describing the coconut faze, theirs had never behaved like that! But of course they might be fibbing!
Equally as many people nodded sagely and said "ah, yes, Labrador puppies are known for biting ".
I know for sure that one of Cassie s litter brothers did not, was the perfect family dog from the outset.
Her other brother, however, who lives with his dad, was absolutely horrendous.

I put a couple of kitchen tools on our local suburb group FB page today and a lovely young lady jumped at my offer of a free pasta maker as we have now upgraded. I PM'd my address and she popped straight over to pick it up. Maxx of course went into manic barking and leaping orbit at a new friend at the front door. I was trying to show her how to assemble the pasta maker but as Steve was the only one who used it, I was struggling. So Steve came down the stairs to the front door with Mr Excitement and she said "oh I love dogs" so they had a few minutes of hair flying but oh so lovely "getting to know you" moments. She said he was a pleasure to meet. There you go!
