Need a donkey for recall?

Out this morning with Cassie doing some training in a nearby field, during a spell of free play I heard a donkey braying nearby, just as I was thinking who round here has acquired a donkey then, and Cass won't have heard this before, when I saw that she'd stopped in her tracks and was fully alert looking at me! I started laughing and she bounded back with such enthusiasm and a quizzical look on her face! So funny, I love it when she does stuff like that She must think I've been watching AD videos again

Question is, where can acquire a recording of a donkey to have on my phone? Not sure my mimicry gifts extend to this !!!!

Selina, you need to go on holiday to Lindos, on Rhodes. We had a week there several years ago. It was lovely and there are loads of donkeys. We woke every morning to a dawn chorus of braying!

I love the sound of a donkey braying. Very probably to do with having been brought up with Winnie the Pooh (Eeyore) and the Narnia books (Puzzle) Very (very) many years ago a very (very) misguided boyfriend tried to suggest that the reason I gave all animals voices was because I'd been brought up on middle class sh*te written by people like A.A. Milne and C.S Lewis. He didn't last long.

I will, I promise! I'm thinking Donkey in Shrek. Hang on, when I say I will..... well what I mean is if I do (learn to bray) I will (video it) Just to make sure I haven't commited myself to anything too over the top, really it's not my dog that responds to braying. She's quite happy being told she's a Good Girl. The braying lies firmly in Selina's court I feel.

If you’re ever in Devon/Dorset you must visit the Donkey Sanctuary. You can take dogs I love their Poitou donkeys, they’re large and full of character
