In herself, she is again brighter but a large piece of skin ( damaged skin ) has sloughed away as we were told it probably would do . It doesnt appear to be bothering her and we have to take Debbie to an appointment this morning but will call at the Vets on our way home for them to look at it as it looks horrendous but nice pink skin underneath xx

Just back, good news and not so good news . The former is that her temp has gone down, almost normal , the latter is that she will almost certainly need restorative surgery on the wounds . Sue cut away the dead skin , flushed it all out and dressed it , back tomorrow for another dressing . We had all hoped that the wounds would heal by secondary intention but that is now in doubt .
Nelly is eating pretty well now , begged for toast this morning for the first time in ages , she has eaten more baby food plus some roast chicken and brie xx
