Me and my friend have been close for the last 20 years. We supported each other and been through good times and bad. Between us we had 5 dogs and 3 cats. We've always looked after each others animals when we've needed to. We both loved each others pets and for the last few years I've looked after her very ill dog and failing cat when she's been away. We've gradually lost all our beloved animals,. The last cat died a few weeks ago leaving just Rory between us. She wasn't going to get anymore dogs or cats but today I got a text with a picture of a sweet black kitty. She's failed in her resolve I knew she would and am so glad. She feels better now. The house is a home again and she and her daughter are so happy. Made my day I hated her being without a little friend.
