Nisha Noo

Our courageous Nisha Noo left us this afternoon. I’m not ready to give all the story but I will soon. We managed to get her to the vet for X-rays which showed she was riddled with big tumours. I know the things that will be said and I know they are true. I know that she had the best few months of her life with us. I know she wouldn’t have had the opportunity of an easy passage at the shelter.
But I’m so, so sad that she never knew she was loved. She never trusted us. She never knew there were good people. Her last day was the first day I touched her and she was terrified.
I’m a bit broken.

Damn, this is gutting. I am so so sorry this was how it ended for her and for you, but also pleased she knew a different life for her last months. You did everything xxx

I’m so terribly sorry.

What you did for her did matter. You made her life better.

The shit bits of her life can’t be changed and are the fault of many others. Nothing could have fixed that.
Yes , exactly. The last few months of her life were probably when she was the nearest she ever could be to feeling safe. You have done a wonderful thing.

Oh I’m so sorry, Fiona :'(

You brought her kindness and love. Thank you for caring for an “untouchable” that no one else cared about. Hugs to you both, it’s so tough.
