It’s on the saggy lip part (technical term ?). I was going to wait until his kennel cough vaccine on Tuesday afternoon thinking that’s what hubby would say. He surprised my when he said, oh I don’t like the look of that and want him seen sooner. That’s what made me worry more.On his lip? On the inside?
As I’m sure you’ve read most lumps are nothing to worry about, even though you need the vet to confirm that. Dogs can grow a surprising number of lumpy things that might look suspicious but actually turn out to be fine. Fingers crossed that the Vet will say “it’s only a [insert name of harmless lump here]”.
I’m thinking maybe grass seed too. Fingers crossed it’s something simple, don’t they just like to give us a worry at times. Bless em.Oh, worry, worry. It’s probably just a bite or a grass seed or something innocuous but they do seem to like worrying us!
Oh I know who you are now Karen, you have another lab too. I agree, better to get any lumps checked out for sure. Is the eyelid one bothersome to Poppy? Definitely better safe than sorry.I've just been to the vet too, Poppy (who is six now) is starting to get a few warty growths... One is growing on her eyelid. I take her in for the vet to have a look at every single one... better safe than sorry, is my maxim. Fingers crossed it's nothing.
Thank you Jacqui.Fingers crossed x
Yes, always just as it’s the weekend too! I hope Dexter’s ok and it’s nothing to worry about.I’m thinking maybe grass seed too. Fingers crossed it’s something simple, don’t they just like to give us a worry at times. Bless em.
Thanks for asking, no it's not bothersome to her at all, it's very tiny. The vet says it's fine for now, just an innocuous wart, but if it grows too big and disturbs her eye then we'll have to have it removed.Oh I know who you are now Karen, you have another lab too. Yes hopefully it clears up. Hubby is in charge of the antibiotic as we have to give 3/4 of a tablet and I’m highly allergic to penicillin. I’m not taking any chances with crushing it up ?Oh, that's good news!![]()
