Notifications

Hello, I keep getting email notifications even after what I thought was turning them all off. Have I missed a check box ? I don’t want any emails for any type of notification.

Just checking which box you are checking...the top one - email preferences or the bottom one, alert preferences then click save?

hmm... I have changed your status to registered user, this may make a difference. You should now see an option to add a signature @DuggansDad

I have very questionable email at the moment. The notifications I received may have already been stored on the server waiting to send when i changed the settings. Seems to have stopped now thanks.

I've been getting the same problem, but not every time- bit confused by this, assumed I've done something wrong.

Yes and me. I thought I’d changed my settings to no notifications but I’m still getting emails.

I've switched off my email notifications without a problem, but I would like to receive an email notification if I receive a PM, but there's no option for that?

Hi @Xena Dog Princess, your options for conversations should look like this. Conversation messages are private messages

Yes this is happening to me too

Hi both just dipping in briefly. I note you both have preferences in content ticked, which shouldn't mean you are recieving email notifications, however try unticking these options for now to see if that makes a difference. Could you let us know that goes for how ?

The email is a bit glitchy, too - have a look at the content end the times - it seems the server is saving up a lot of emails and then sending them in one go, somewhat after the event. So it may be these were in a queue from before you turning off notifications? That's happened to me a couple of times. I do need to look at it, I know, I'm just a bit distracted with work at the moment - it's a busy week!

No worries @snowbunny - I just delete the emails. Glitches are inevitable.

hmmm..have you checked your spam folder? Wonder if it's lurking in there?
