Only just seen this, how us Nelly tonight?

She is currently asleep , the Vet had said either a quarter of one of Reubens leftover tablets or a shot of the Metacam she occasionally needs for her poorly joints . Late afternoon she had a proper coughing fit and got quite upset , so she had a small shot of Metacam on her tea , its knocked her for six which is no bad thing , bless her xx

She is still fast asleep , Paul and I have just had a bag of crisps each , she usually smells them and scampers over for a treat but she is still spark out . Now a dilemma , I could now walk Reuben and leave Nelly nice and warm in the car with Paul , but could Reuben pass on Nellys Kennel Cough to another dog ? Thinking about it , I doubt it as its an air born virus xx

No, he will be "immune" by now so as long as he isn't infectious from his OWN KC, he won't re-catch it from Nelly and start spreading again

Happy to say that Nelly is not too bad at all , she slept soundly all night with no coughing . She had had the odd little cough this morning but not enough to upset her , she is eating well too . I will leave her with Paul when I take Reubs out soon for his daily walk on the little used trail , she can stay in the car and be cuddled xxx

Just letting you know that Miss Nelly is doing grand x She has only had the very odd cough today, she has not had any more medication since Friday evening and is still eating like a little piggy so thankfully they have both got away quite lightly , hoping she continues to do well. I will still be banning walks for her but she doesnt seem to mind too much , she stays with her Daddy and gets nice little titbits , thanks for all your well wishes xxx

Thanks my lovely , she is doing well, just the odd cough so she is still isolated for another week or so but its getting better although lingering longer than it did with Reubs . I guess he has youth on his side and no other issues xx

Out of quarantine at last x Thankfully this has been a fairly mild case for both of them , neither really poorly but even though our walks are mainly quiet with very few folks around , I still thought it best to keep them home for a while xx
