We stopped for a walk at the Falls of Bruar on the way up. Currently sitting in our wee guest house in Inverness… more to travel tomorrow!

OK so you are heading north so I will say the Highlands and work my way down. Unless of course you are catching a ferry and we can go further north

We had a long trip up further North today, mainly because we were stopping a lot rather than it was really far to travel!
Starting off in Inverness, we travelled up to the beautiful Dornoch beach. We love it here. It’s a HUGE beach, even more so today when the tide was way out. Oreo had a ball

After our trip to the beach, we headed up to Golspie where we sat to have some lunch.

After lunch, we headed for Whaligoe Steps (funny name, I know ).

We reached our destination at around 4.30pm after a trip to the shops for some essentials (tonic water? Wine? )
