Oliver

Today is a good day for Oliver and I am pleased to see him looking so bright and walking better. He is 14 and his arthritis is very bad at times. He also has an autoimmune skin disease which is under control with steroids. Pippin and Becca treat their uncle Oliver the same as ever, in some ways it must be nice to be a dog and not have to worry about such things. I just have to take it day by day as I know the arthritis will get the better of him in the end. I know that other people on here have said how precious these days are and I am making the best of them. At least I feel I am not alone which is one of the best things about this forum.

Bless the oldies, they are so precious.

I've never experienced it myself, as our family dogs growing up all seemed to be taken away by other things before they got to the arthritic stage. When I see older dogs out and about, they always make my heart melt. Do you have any pictures of Oliver you could share?

I loved having oldies I was so lucky to have my dogs for so long. Everyday was golden just enjoy everyone. Both were going for walks and able until their end despite horrid health problems. Oliver sounds wonderful. X

Thank you. I will try to find a photo of him, I don't take many but I know my daughter has some of him.
