Oreo has a bad limp

Today, at work, Oreo suddenly started limping really badly. We don’t know what happened as she was just let out into the paddock, then 5 minutes later, she was limping! I suspect she was playing too rough and landed badly....

After a phone call with our vet, he said for me to give her a dose of metacam, let her rest, and see how she is in the morning. Just now, almost 5 hours after the metacam, she is just as bad. He says he will come and see her tomorrow if her limp is still bad in the morning, but until then, I just have to hope she is okay!

My poor princess is sad I’ve had a bit of a stressful week and this is just a GREAT ending

Poor @Sophiedoodle and Oreo, that’s really upsetting. The metacam should hopefully help her feel a bit more comfortable and get some sleep, and tomorrow will be brighter - and whatever happens, the vet is on standby to help if needed

Oreo is still limping pretty badly this morning so the vet is coming up to have a look at her some time before 1pm. I will update once he has had a look at her. I don’t think she’s done something awful as she is bearing a little weight on it at times x
