Oreo has finally finished her breeding contract, and was spayed today.
Not long collected her. She's feeling a bit sorry for herself, and currently shivering cuddled under the heated blanket with me.
Poor girl gentle on lead walks, and to keep her spay suit on for next 10 days.

So relived she's finally done, and no more puppies for our girl

Poor Oreo! It's probably the after-effects of the general anaesthetic. Hopefully she'll feel much better tomorrow when it's worn off properly.

She'll be down after the anaesthetic, she should bounce back in a day or three. Then you'll have your hands full

She's still a bit sad and shivery at times, and not really eating.
She's eaten 6 or 7 pieces of chicken by hand, then will spit them out. Hopefully she'll eat more later today

Poor little girl, she probably feels icky from the G/A and perhaps a bit of shock to the system as she is a bit shivery still.

She is beautiful. It’s so hard seeing them like that isn’t it, it must be really confusing and disorienting for a while - feeling groggy and sick but not knowing why, on top of the discomfort from the surgery. Hopefully tomorrow will be brighter for her.

Normal eating has resumed, yay!
She's still giving the odd groan, so obviously still in a bit of pain. Gave her some pain relief, so hopefully that'll help her at least she's come out of the anaesthetic by the looks of it
