That is exciting! And terrifying (probably not for you, but I'd be both in equal measure). At what stage will she go back to the breeding centre? Will she have to be there for X days before her due date?

She will live up at work from a week before her due date until her puppies are 6-7 weeks old (by this stage, they are completely weaned off mum, and mum is totally fed up with them!!!)
It would terrify me, but since I have the experience and know exactly what happens, it is fine and I’m really excited.
The hardest part will be not having her at home, but I will plan to bring another dog or puppy home for the duration! The best thing is, I will get to see her and look after her and her puppies throughout the whole process

It’s just the way we do things here. The dogs come up and visit us plenty of times before they start having their puppies so they get to know us really well and it’s a second home to them. Oreo is totally comfortable here and trusts my boss so it’s not an issue for her.

The breeder I got Iver from had 5 adult dogs and 11 puppies. It's such hard work having a litter. She was so tired
