Paddling pools ?

Anyone got one for their dog/dogs ? Although we lived near to the coast , we only visit very early mornings during the late spring / summer seasons as it just too busy . Reuben loves water so am thinking of getting a paddling pool , any recommendations please ? I guess a blow up one wouldnt last long

Rory eats at least one a year. Any sort really the cheaper the better they don't last long

We have the hard plastic sand/water pits at work and the dogs love it. It’s multi-purpose for us one half for the puppies (ball pit) and one half for the adult dogs (paddling pool)!

We have very similar to @Naya - I’ve had it for about 10 years and it doubles as a tadpole safe home in the spring.

I have this too! One half filled with sand for our grandchildren and the other half with water for Finn!

Do their claws not rip this @Cath ? I've got one of the rigid ones but Monty won't step foot in it, he hates the slippy surface. One like you've got might work best for us

Well I have had this one for 4 years now. I put it away in the shed in winter and then out it comes again in summer.
I got 2 when they were selling them off in Sept, but have not needed them yet. They are not dear when paying full price anyway.

We have one similar to @Sophiedoodle too. We actually have two, one has sand in it and the other is used as a lid for the sand pit. When it's hot, we fill the empty one with water for Nathan and Ella.

Yes we have the same as @Sophiedoodle it is hard plastic and as Maisy likes to dig her way out it is very hard wearing. The first one we got was soft and did not last 5 minutes.

Plum also chewed her way through a soft plastic pool and it was in the bin within 20 mins of being filled, so I’d be opting for a Chad Valley one like @Naya’s or like @Sophiedoodle’s.

Coco loves to be in water or play with the hose, but when I bought one like Sophiedoodle posted he just wouldn't go in it. Love the mud pool Annemarie!

Every now and then we toy with the idea of one of these - Squidge and Ginny would love it! But water is such a commodity for us at the moment, and it would evaporate really quickly! Plus, water attracts wasps. Still, if I ever see one of those plastic ones, I'll probably buy it just for very occasional use.

Mine love their pool but if you are on a water meter don't get one of these. Takes forever to fill!
