Poor boy

We had a new sofa and chair delivered this morning , we got rid of the old one yesterday . I bought some really lovely throws for the new stuff as it isnt leather like the old one . Reuben will not go anywhere near it, he wont even go onto his bed because its next to the monster chair and as for getting onto the sofa, no way . He is laid in the hallway, every so often coming into the sitting room to see us and almost gets onto his bed and then backs off and leaves the room again . I could weep, he is such a sensitive soul , I guess he will eventually be brave xx

We bought Maxx a lovely new bed a few months back. We have tried everything but nope, won't have a bar of it. And now ever since his fall down the stairs and the slip off the couch he needs paw-holding periodically to go on some of the non-carpeted surfaces - which is most of the house.

He jumps on his favourite couch and then cries when he wants to get off. I've now put a mat on the floor next to it and a few times yesterday he got off on his own

They really are sensitive souls our beautiful dogs

Poor boy indeed! They do worry don't they?

Cassie had a deep mistrust of the dishwasher I bought just over 2 years ago when she was rising 4. I did make sure it had finished it's cycle before she had to go to her kitchen bed for the night as it was close by.
But she got used to it in time, as I'm sure Reuben will with the sofa. You probably won't be able to get him off it soon!
