Thank you, for all the well wishes for Nelly xxx She has definitely improved with the stronger drugs , still not 100% but better than she was for sure . I have reduced the gabapentin from three a day to two as the three just sedated her too much and I dont want a little zombie dog . I had to smile , I had a refund from British Gas , for 130 pounds , Nelly`s bill at the Vets was 180

One change we have noticed is that Nelly has become very cuddly . Prior to this current illness , she would not stand for being picked up and cuddled but now she craves the comfort, bless her xx

Nelly had a check up at the vets yesterday and Sue was very pleased with her saying that Nelly certainly likes to keep us on our toes x The current regime is to continue and another check in two weeks time unless she becomes poorly again . This illness , chiari malformation has no cure but patients can be kept comfortable until they cant . So our job is to keep our little love as pain free as possible and care for her to the best of our abilities xxx
