Reuben is still coughing but not quite so much as he was on Wednesday thank goodness . It has knocked him for six , he is happy to doze the day away and so far, no coughing from Nelly x

Ivers hardly coughing at all now. He only gets it if he's running about being daft. He's much better and getting silly. He gets tired quickly though. His eyes are much better too. Glad the big boys improving

It does seem to be all over the place at the minute. In Plymouth, Ojs dog Walker isn’t doing any group walks as several have kennel cough down there.

Our lovely gardener friend is here cutting the grass , he lives in Looe and says it is running rampant there . Anna has cancelled all but essential clients in an effort to try and stem the spread , it is horrible to see x

I wonder if it is any use getting Rourke vaccinated against kennel cough before it arrives in the Midlands, but it might not be the right strain.

You could always ask your vet they will know what going on your area

I think its a bit like when we are offered our `flu shots , they carefully track which is the prevalent strain at that time and thats the shot we get . Kennel Cough is similar , as there are many strains , some bacterial and some viral, so again its a case of Vets being informed of the one doing the rounds and vaccinating against that one . I will wait for about six months as the disease gives immunity for 6/12 months and then have both dogs done , if I remember right its a squirt up the nostrils job . Of course it isnt a guarantee , but it does help I`m sure xx

I feel like painting a red cross on the door Reuben is a bit better but he still had a coughing bout in the night , poor little Nelly doesnt know what to do with herself , I knew she wasnt well when she tried to hide away, it is such a horrible thing x

Not really Jac , it seems to be worse at night, first one starts, then the other Never mind, they are better during the day and I can have a nice little nap in the scanner tomorrow

Poor little Nelly , she is not having a good morning and is quite unwell . I know she will get better soon but oh dear, she looks so pathetic , just wants to cuddle up and sleep, bless her x
