Poorly Coco

He's feeling a lot brighter this morning. He had tummy rubs and an early night. He got up around 1am (probably for a tiny slick of reddish poo which I've just washed away, and another wee - he kept himself well hydrated). He came in when I called him (eventually!), bounding across the garden like a loon!

He reckons he's starving and wolfed down the ProFibre that he refused last night. He's still a little quiet, I've just given him some white fish & yoghurt and some of the YuDigest that Meg has daily - just in an attempt to settle his "good bacteria". I remain on careful watch.

He's grumbling and barking at people through the window - that's all good. He's got his Wag back - thank you for all the Lambies.

We were very worried, he usually so robust. Meg is the delicate one.

He's had a little tinned dog food for lunch and now they're fighting. Chase & bitey face.

I can't think what he ate, apart from the rib-eye steak the night before. OH might have given him some rather large pieces before I spotted them in his bowl and told him to cut them up, but that's all.

Glad to hear he’s feeling a bit brighter, it’s such a worry when they’re out of sorts like that and you can’t pin down why.

Coco's had another bout of this. I think acute colitis. Like last time it was over in 24 hours, but he was so down. He was up 7 times in the night on Friday, pacing, stretching, eating grass & being sick (grass)/diarrhoea with blood. Again, he had not eaten anything odd prior. Next day he was off his food and very miserable. He wouldn't even lick a spoon of yoghurt. At least he was drinking water.

He had a good night last night, not up at all and was fine this morning, looking for breakfast as usual. He's been out all day today, playing with his new ball and helping in the garden.
