Poorly Molly

Yesterday was my 1st time back in an office since mid March and as fate sometimes plans, Molly became very poorly. Thank goodness J was here to care for her.

Without going into all the details, she collapsed with shaking hind legs and for a dreadful moment J thought she'd had a stroke. Phone call to the vet and he took her in. With all the precautions, he couldn't go in with her, so the vet took her off into the surgery. He came back and said J had to take her urgently to their surgery 10 miles away to be put on a drip to try to get her temperature down and lower her heart rate.

We eventually bought her home around 6 last evening. They don't know what's wrong, but are fairly sure she is fighting a bad bacterial infection because her white blood cell count has plummeted.
They gave an injection of abs and a pack of tablets to start today but if she doesn't seem to be picking up, we have to take her back to be sedated and scanned.

Fingers crossed for my poor little chocolate drop please 🤞

Oh my gosh, how scary for you. I'm so sorry you're going through this, and have everything crossed that the lovely Molly will be back bouncing fit in no time at all. I'm glad she's at home for both her and you guys.

Sending all the lambies...
