Poorly Pair

Well I don't know if they really did have the same bug?

On Saturday morning, Coco woke up with his insides gurgling. He paced about eating grass. He refused breakfast, and all food offerings until tea. He did several small poos throughout the day, all formed but a little soft. Foul wind. This is now a fairly common sickness for Coco - say every 2 or 3 months. He was fine by evening.

On Saturday night, Meg had an emergency poo before bed. She was sick in the night with undigested food from tea and supper time. She was up every hour with yellow water for diarrhoea. She refused breakfast - really, REALLY rare for her (well I didn't offer it to her but she didn't hang about while I was putting Coco's out). She refused pro-fiber. She perked up slightly by lunchtime according to OH (I was out). She had a further episode of yellow water diarrhoea. She was starving by tea time and ate it with gusto (along with Pro-Fibre) and ate a huge supper (admin error on OH's part, he thought I hadn't fed them at tea time!). Today she has done one big, formed poo and another big, more loose one.

Neither of them have been fed anything unusual. The foul wind persists I notice as I'm typing (Meg) :puke:

Maybe the heat has contributed?

It sounds to me like they've both had the same bug, with the symptoms being so similar. Poor Coco and Meg, I hope they're better soon. :thelambiesarecoming: :thelambiesarecoming:
Poor you too, it's bad enough having one poorly dog, let alone two.

Poor Meg and Coco. Whatever it is, I hope they’re both back to normal soon. :thelambiesarecoming: Tuppy was a bit off-colour in the heat too, but very briefly, with one instance of runny poo one day, then one little bout of sickness. She didn’t seem bothered, though, and still wanted her food! I gave her an extra dollop of keffir in case that helped!

Sounds a mutual bug but relieved to read it was relatively short lived, as it appears to be improving. I hope they both are feeling so much better, horrid to have an upset and painful stomach.
