Poor Poppy.
I met 3 dog owners this morning telling me how I'll their dogs have been with upset tummies. Their vets said there is a bug in our area. Hope she gets well soon. X
Sorry not to write an update before; it was my birthday yesterday and my son arrived on Friday evening as a surprise, just as I got back from the vets!!
Anyway, the vet gave Poppy an injection with antibiotics and a painkiller, and said we should not give her any more anti-inflammatories until this tummy upset has cleared up. She is so much better today, much more cheerful and interested in food again, and her poos are much better (I would say 7 on the 1 - 10 scale). We're heading back over to the vet again in half an hour for the second antibiotics injection. Thank you all for your concern! Fingers crossed!!!

and glad to hear that dear Poppy is doing betterQuick update - Poppy is doing very well, she is on one rimadyl tablet a day, and is enjoying life. She trots along happily and is even allowed to do the occasional gentle dummy search in the bushes, which she adores. Long may it last!
