It’s amazing what their breeder is doing with them, she’s brilliant. For the last couple of weeks she’s been playing all sorts of sounds in the background at dinner and playtimes - traffic noise, shotguns, thunderstorms, vacuum cleaners etc. She’s doing regular sessions with them all to start getting used to a bit of independence, including individual crate time and time in the car. And she’s doing loads of handling (including regular all over inspections, massages and clipping their nails) and familiarization with different textures. She has a canine behaviorist on board to support the new puppy parents, and we have a webinar coming up to talk about all things puppy and meet each other. We couldn’t have dreamed of a more careful and thoughtful breeder, which was why we had to leap when we found her!it looks like they have such a nice environment to start life in
That all sounds amazing! The breeder I have chosen is doing a lot of the same things as yours, it was the second reason I chose her, it helps make for a much more confident puppy I think/hopeIt’s amazing what their breeder is doing with them, she’s brilliant.
