Possible Mast Cell Tumour

A while ago I noticed a small lump on Reubens chest, it disappeared so I thought no more about it , thinking of most likely to have been a bite . Last night I noted it was back , its in a difficult place where his fur is thick, between throat and chest so I rang the Vets who told me to take him in . Outcome is that he has had fine needle aspiration for a possible mast cell tumour, results in a few days time . On the other hand it may be a harmless growth , but only the test will tell . I cant tell you how sick I feel , especially as it reminded me of what happened with Sam . I`m trying hard to think positive thoughts but its not easy xxx

Lambies Kate, and loads of hope that it's something harmless. :thelambiesarecoming: :thelambiesarecoming::thelambiesarecoming:
I know it's easier said than done, particularly after what you went through with Sam, but really try not to get fixated on the worst possible outcome unless it proves to be that.

I was so proud of Reuben at the Vets , like Sam before him he adores going, mainly because they give him little liver treats . When the Vet said she would do the fine needle aspirate , she said she would go and get a nurse to come and hold him , I told her No , I would hold his head . He was such a blinkin good lad , never flinched and never stopped wagging his tail , bless him xx
